Will replica/authentic jerseys also have this patch, or only the game used ones?

I thought that these "jersey partners" had been imposed on teams across the league, wasn't aware they could reject the idea like EDM did... this is (frank)ing sad.

meanwhile the beer will still be sold 12 dollars at the Bell lol. tabarnak.

For now, the patch will be optional for those as stated in the blog, if people chose the version with the patch 20$ will be donated to the Canadiens' children foundation but I fully expect the option to go away in the coming years...

they should pass a law declaring the jersey as "patrimoine culturel", so that they aren't allowed to soil it with a bunch of ads lol...

Those who are surprised by the decision don't really know who Geoff Molson is.

it's 14.75$ now

The day people stop buying it, maybe they'll drop down the prices. I say that, but I'm the kind of guy who can easily watch a hockey game without drinking beer, so maybe I'm not a reference here

Inevitable.

Once they put the sticker on the helmet, you know this was gonna 100% happen.

Gonna be awesome when they get a sponsor whose logo completely clashes with the jersey colours...

14.75$...? bin voyons osti

I can also watch a game without any beer, but it's a question of principle, offering these insane prices while ads can literally be found everywhere, and now even on the god damn jerseys... the Molson family can (frank) off.

that's the thing though, it isn't inevitable at all, it's just greed. ugly, disgusting greed.

well, if you're referring to the inevitability of human nature, with greed being an integral part of it...

One of my friends was at Chris Stapleton's concert last week. Maybe it's going to be even higher for Habs games

I don't even like advertising along the boards. Solid red boards with blue striping would look cool as (frank).
